At last, I moved to my new place, a beautiful and lovely flat in a type of tourist holiday seaside resort in Mediterranean coast near Barcelona. It takes about two minutes with my bike to reach the research center, isn't it brilliant!

Since I am in the research center most of the time (with an international atmosphere and all the people speaking in English), I have not tried to learn Spanish yet, but it seems to be easy at least in pronunciation, because you write what you hear and vice versa!

Dem's more friendly with ME

Last night I was awake until 4.5 am, first to work on a new crystal for nonlinear interactions and second to listen to Democrats 2008 US presidency debate on CNN. For the first one, I concluded (then in the morning checked with other colleagues) that results of a newly publishes paper (2007) that claims to observing SHG in a new crystal are completely wrong! It was reported by an Ukrainian group of Crystal researchers that I think are not professional in Nonlinear Optics.
In Dem debate, Hillary's attack on other candidates especially Obama and Edwards was strange for me because we can find that how deep is their beliefs for future plans as US president and as a Democrate. But their open discussion in every topic was really warming because this type of talks is not allowed or even forbidden with accusation of weakening government and even prisoning in asian countries especially middle east.
The most interesting and in my opinion very knowlegeable person among them is Joe Biden, who is very relaxed when is not talking but very serious and straight when explaining his views.
The promising point in all of their talks was a united view in bringing peace into ME and open talks with al nations there, especially Iran.

Eve!, Let Bob and Alice live their Life!

Well, today there was a nice seminar on QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) by Masahito Hayashi from Japan. His work was on using different methods to evaluate the measure of security exchanging information which is a great topic in Quantum Information and Communication and Quantum Cryptography. As I found there are some keys and methods that Alice and Bob use to encode and decode their messages to prevent Eve (an eavedropper) from reading the message when it is being tranmitted between them.
His work was experiment-based in collaboration with other groups under a large project in Japan between Universities and Technology companies. He have several internatiollly printed books and papers.
An inetersting thing that happened in his presentation was his surprise on the first word in the first line of the first page of his presentation, SPD. He said: "what!? what is it here?! SPD!!!" We enjoyed very much in his surprises and moves during his presentation! SPD is "Single-Photon Detector" which is one of the main devices to detect the photons which carry the information.

What does it mean, "Yygit"?

You may ask yourself that what would be the meaning of weblog's address, "Yygit"? Well, it is a Turkmen word and is said to a live and spirited young boy, the word that exactly matches me ;)
